Statement in the sense of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 of 30.06.2003 – “Data protection codes”

In accordance with Art. 13 of Decree Law 196 of 30 June 2003, we INFORM that our company processes the personal data of the customers and suppliers, as well as other persons who are willing to give us their personal data (by telephone, fax or eMail) or personal data which is communicated to us by third parties or taken over from public directories. It is only personal data of common/ordinary nature, that is not “sensitive” data.

Our company guarantees, under the conditions of the legal requirements, that the processing of the personal data takes into account the fundamental rights and freedoms as well as the dignity of the person concerned with special reference to the secrecy, the personal identity and the right to the protection of the personal data.

Goals and purposes of data processing

Data processing is carried out exclusively for the following purposes:

- fulfillment of any contractual obligations against the person concerned

- fulfillment of activities related to the business of our company such as the completion of internal statistics, accounting and the management of customer/supplier accounting

- objective of a commercial nature such as the sending of business information and advertising material (by post, fax and e-mail),

- Protection of claims and management of liabilities

- Objective in terms of insurance

- Credit insurance

- transmission and processing of the data

In relation to the above objectives, your personal data will be forwarded as needed:

- to the public authorities, if required by law

- to credit institutions with which our company maintains business relations for the management of claims, liabilities and the transfer of funds

- all those natural and/or legal, public and/or private persons (legal, administrative and tax advisory offices, courts, chambers of commerce, etc.), if the transfer proves necessary for the performance of our business; Way with the appropriate objectives.

The personal data processed by our company are not neither unlawfully passed on to third parties nor distributed in any other form.

Kind of disclosure

The disclosure of the data is absolutely necessary for the execution of the contractual obligations, the accounting and legal regulations. Eventual denied or false declaration of the obligatory information can cause the impossibility of the proper handling of the contractual relations and the possible non-compliance of the legal regulations, the administrative and working procedure.

Modes of data processing

Data processing may be carried out with or without the aid of electronic means, in any case automatic means, and includes all the operations required by Article 4 (1) (a) of Legislative Decree No 196 of 30 June 2003 and necessary for the data processing concerned. In any case, data processing is carried out in compliance with all security measures which ensure its security and confidentiality.

Rights of the person concerned

The Privacy Law confers on the parties concerned the possibility of exercising certain rights pursuant to Articles 7, 8, 9 and 10, Lgs. No. 196. In detail, he has the right to know what personal data are available about him, even if they have not yet been stored, and to know in more detail about this data. Origin and purpose of their processing, as well as information on the owner and persons responsible for the processing and persons and categories of persons to whom such data may be communicated. The data subject has the right to confirm and control, correct and supplement his/her data, to request the data to be deleted, blocked and converted into anonymous data, should the processing violate the legal provisions. The person in subject has the right to refuse, for justified reasons, all or parts of the processing of its data, as well as its cancellation, blocking, transformation into anonymous data, and, without justifiable reason, if data for the purpose of the commercial information, the sending of advertising material, to market and opinion research.
